Lapis

The story of Lapis began in 1991, when the successful Slovenian sport climbing enthusiast Aljosa Grom started developing climbing holds. Born out of his enthusiasm for sport climbing and route setting, his first products were an inspiration for many climbers and route setters. This caught the attention of Jaka Schlamberger, a successful entrepreneur who had successfully launched skate and snowboard brands in Slovenia. Jaka saw great potential in the brand for artificial climbing holds. Together they founded the Lapis Holds brand. Jaka contributed his knowledge of business management, brands and brand development, which he had acquired through many years of experience.
