About Trangia

Cooking food in the wild is not an art. At least not with a Trangia cooking stove. The incomparable Trangia principle makes it possible to prepare food in any weather - even in strong winds and biting cold. Simplicity is the motto of the outdoor stove: upper and lower windshield, one burner, two pans, combination lid/frying pan and tongs. Many cooking stoves also have a kettle. The stove is light, robust and requires no special care. The Trangia stove is reliable and has no unnecessary parts that can break or be negatively affected by the cold. The set can be quickly assembled and packed away into a compact unit that takes up minimal space.

The world-renowned Trangia company was founded in 1925 by John E. Johnson. John was a young, talented and technically gifted designer who, with his father-in-law, dominated the Swedish storm-proof stove industry for more than half a century. The company and its ingenuity have been passed down through the family to the next generation. Trangia combines many years of experience, solid expertise and modern design. The legendary Trangia cooking stove has therefore been continuously developed, optimized and refined over 60 years. Its high operational safety and ease of use still make it one of the most successful cooking stoves on the market today.

In addition to the classic aluminum pots (can also be used on an open fire thanks to the wall thickness), the Trangia range also includes corrosion-resistant laminate (or elegant and super robust titanium), Duossal (coated on the inside with wafer-thin stainless steel) and Non-stick (non-stick coating on the inside). The Trangia cooking sets are available in different materials and sizes and offer a wide range of possible combinations.
