Samaya is a French company that was founded in 2018. Since then, the manufacturer has been dedicated to the development and production of tents that meet the highest standards of comfort, functionality and design. Samaya's ultra-light camping tents are aimed at mountain sports enthusiasts, among others. Extreme weather conditions such as wind, snow and cold on the peaks of imposing mountain massifs are no problem for Samaya tents. Samaya's best-known product is the Samaya 2.5 tent. Weighing just 1538 grams, this lightweight camping tent is the perfect companion for multi-day tours in the mountains. The small packing size also contributes to more comfort on tours. Another plus point is its ease of use, as the Samaya 2.5 can be set up and securely fastened on almost any underground surface in a short space of time. Despite its low weight, the Samaya 2.5 offers enough space inside for two people to spend a comfortable night in the tent and stow their luggage. Samaya tents can withstand even the most adverse weather, as this is precisely what is particularly important when developing new tents. The tarpaulin used in most models is three-layered and waterproof up to a water column of 20,000 millimeters. The synthetic fiber Dyneema is used for the tent floor. It effectively protects the tent from moisture from the ground. At the same time, the material dries quickly after a rain shower and can be packed up and taken on the next tour without a long drying time.
