About Knog

Knog was founded by Hugo Davidson and Malcolm McKennie in 2002 and is now a highly respected brand for unique lighting and cycling equipment. The brand name Knog is derived from "noggin", Australian slang for brain, and the two founders have clearly put this to good use. The young company focuses entirely on innovation and fresh concepts, and the Knog brand quickly became known for its great cycling accessories. It is a globally active company that manufactures the well-known Knog bicycle locks and lights in particular. Knog currently sells its products in over 46 different countries worldwide. Behind the production of Knog bicycle locks is a team of creative designers and developers who deliberately do not want to conform. Their own claim is to manufacture unique products. On the company's own website, the manufacturers speak of passion and enthusiasm, and of the intention to smash common shapes and patterns, challenge the status quo and revolutionize the way people have thought about lights and locks up to now. A particular highlight is the Blinder product range, which was launched in 2012 and revolutionized the bicycle lighting market once again. The exterior of the Blinders consists of a coloured anodized aluminium front cover and a housing body made of durable polycarbonate. An attached, flexible silicone strap with stainless steel fastener enables tool-free mounting on handlebars and seat posts with a diameter of 22-35mm. The integrated USB plug allows the Blinder's lithium polymer battery to be recharged via a USB port. The transparent silicone housing is waterproof and reliably protects the electronics from dirt and contamination. The young company describes and compares the secret of its innovations to good sex on the company website: passion, experimentation, hard work, spontaneity and humor are what make their exceptional products and ultimately a successful brand. Knog - great product design and fun time! Cool bike stuff for everyone!
