Avalanche info evenings 2026/2027
What was that again about the five typical danger patterns and critical slope angles? During the information evening, you will deal with the topic of avalanche awareness. In cooperation with two mountain schools, we organise 18 avalanche information evenings.
Together with our partners, the Höhenfieber mountain school (for German-speaking Switzerland) and Altiora (for French-speaking Switzerland), we will give you an insight into avalanche science at the avalanche information evening.
The following topics are covered, among others:

Typical avalanche problems
Interpreting avalanche bulletins
Assessing avalanche danger
3x3 assessment and decision-making framework
