First aid course
Whether trekking, cycling or any other adventure: accidents happen. What should you do? In this first aid course, you’ll learn how to deal with an emergency that happens beyond the reach of civilisation and what to think about if help isn’t available quickly.
The weather’s bad and the rescue helicopter can’t fly? The nearest hospital is hundreds of kilometres away? No smartphone reception? No help in sight – what now?
These kinds of emergencies can happen on outdoor adventures, even with good planning. Transa is running a first aid course together with the SanArena Rettungsschule. On this course, you will learn what to do in the event of an emergency outdoors; for example, how to transport someone safely, what the chain of survival is and what considerations are important when you are far away from civilisation.

Deadline for registration: every Wednesday lunchtime before the course

Lunch (snacks will be provided)
Drinking bottle; there is a drinking fountain on site
Outdoor clothing suitable for the weather
Rain gear (jacket and trousers)
Hiking boots (or waterproof trekking shoes with good tread)
