Where the trail to the wall becomes steeper, rockier, and more rugged, that’s where the Arc’teryx Konseal Men’s boots come into their own. These multi-purpose shoes are designed for demanding approaches, alpine tours, and technical terrain, providing a secure grip even off the beaten path—even when your backpack is weighing heavily on your shoulders.

The upper, made of abrasion-resistant nubuck leather, is designed for hard activities in the mountains and remains durable even after long tours. An abrasion-resistant composite material extends from the midsole up into the upper, providing protection where rocks and scree pose the greatest challenges. The lacing system, which extends far forward, allows for a precise fit, while the improved heel hold stabilizes the foot and prevents friction and blisters.

Damping is provided by a compressed EVA midsole that supports the foot even under load. An integrated carbon fiber plate offers additional stability and torsional rigidity—which is especially noticeable when carrying heavy gear. On the bottom, the Vibram XS Flash 2 outsole combines a smooth climbing zone in the forefoot with a high-grip lug pattern (4 mm).
