The Raya Lite from Edelrid is a light, durable ice screw designed for demanding ice climbing activities. Its defining feature is the replaceable three-pronged steel tip: If it becomes worn or damaged after intensive activity, you don’t have to replace the entire screw—which conserves resources and saves you money.

The combination of optimized wall thickness, precise thread geometry, and a three-pronged tip ensures low insertion resistance, allowing the screw to be placed quickly and efficiently. The color-coding on the handle and shaft makes it easy to identify the size on your climbing harness.

The shaft is tapered on the inside, which makes it easier to remove the ice core after unscrewing. The screw comes in a sturdy tarpaulin tube bag with a color-coded loop; multiple bags can be connected via velcro and transported to save space.
