The W's Moonwalk Vest by Houdini is a light midlayer vest that strikes a good balance between warmth, breathability, and weather protection. Its hybrid construction, made from two materials, makes it the perfect companion for fast-paced mountain activities—whether ski touring, climbing, or brisk hiking.

The main fabric, Polartec Power Air Active, is a soft, stretchy fleece with a smooth surface. It traps warm air in tiny bags for reliable insulation, while shedding significantly fewer microfibers than conventional fleece. The vest is reinforced on the front and shoulders with C9 Ripstop—an ultralight, wind-repellent fabric that doesn’t add bulk.

The two-way front zip can be opened for ventilation, and two zippered side bags provide space for small items. The extended back ensures comfort, especially when wearing a backpack or climbing harness. As a hybrid midlayer, the vest can be worn on its own, as an outer layer, or as a warm midlayer—and thanks to Polartec Power Air, it releases virtually no microfibers into the environment.
