The Genesis 2 GTX from Salomon brings the stability of the Genesis series to wet and cold terrain. It’s designed for runners who tackle technical trails even in rain, mud, and wet sections—and want to keep their feet dry.

The integrated GORE-TEX® membrane reliably keeps moisture out while remaining breathable. Over this is the durable Matryx upper with Kevlar threads, which resists abrasion and makes the shoe both light and sturdy.

The fully integrated activeCHASSIS and the wide midsole with optiFOAM ensure a secure footing: they guide the foot, provide soft cushioning, and offer protection on rocky terrain. The endoFit inner bootie holds the foot precisely in place.

The all-terrain contaGRIP sole, with 4 mm low lugs, provides reliable traction on wet rock and loose terrain, and the quickLACE lacing system can be adjusted with a single pull.
