When the weather turns and retreat is not an option, the Alpha SV Jacket M from Arc'teryx offers reliable protection. Developed for heavy-duty alpine activities and extreme conditions, it is windproof, waterproof, breathable and durable thanks to the high-performance GORE-TEX® PRO ePE membrane. At the same time, the material is lighter than before and free from deliberately added PFAS.

The outer material made from recycled nylon offers expedition-grade robustness and can withstand intensive use with a backpack, harness or ice tools. The helmet-compatible StormHood hood provides reliable protection without restricting visibility. Ventilation zips under the arms ensure temperature equalization during strenuous passages.

Particularly practical for alpine activities: two large chest pockets that remain accessible even when wearing a climbing harness, two innovative inside pockets for stowing gloves or a knit cap, an inside pocket for valuables and a zip pocket on the upper arm. The recco reflector in the hood improves visibility in an emergency and the cohesive hem adjustment is light to use even when wearing gloves.
