A very durable hardshell jacket with a GORE-TEX® PRO™ ePE membrane designed for alpine activity in the harshest conditions.

The Arc'teryx Alpha SV Jacket W is a hardshell jacket designed for demanding alpine activities in harsh weather. The GORE-TEX® PRO™ ePE laminate repels wind and moisture while remaining breathable, and is lighter and stronger than the previous generation.

The durable outer fabric, made from recycled nylon, withstands use with a backpack, climbing harnesses, and ice axes. The helmet-compatible StormHood provides protection without restricting your field of vision; underarm ventilation zippers help regulate temperature during strenuous activity.

The features are also designed for alpine activity: two large chest pockets that remain accessible even when wearing a harness, plus two inside pockets for gloves or a knit cap, a secure inside pocket for valuables, and a zip pocket on the upper arm. A recco reflector in the hood and a hem adjustment system operable while wearing gloves are also included.

So the Alpha SV is ready even when conditions aren’t—the jacket for the day when the weather gives it all.
