Durable hardshell jacket with GORE-TEX® PRO™ ePE laminate and a helmet-compatible hood—designed for activity in demanding alpine terrain.
The Arc'teryx Beta SV Jacket W is designed for hard activities in high mountains and proves its worth when the weather turns unpredictable. The durable GORE-TEX® PRO™ ePE outer fabric withstands heavy rain, strong winds, and snowfall while remaining breathable, allowing moisture to escape even during strenuous tours.
Inside, a thin MICRO-GRID lining ensures that body moisture escapes more effectively. At the same time, it protects the membrane from wear caused by internal friction, ensuring the jacket remains waterproof for years, even with frequent, demanding use.
The StormHood can be worn over a helmet and shields your head and face from wind and rain without restricting your field of vision. The two-way front zip can be opened from the top or bottom, allowing you to quickly access your climbing harness or hip belt without having to fully unzip the jacket.
The two zippered pockets are positioned high up and can be used even while wearing a climbing harness or backpack; small items are safely stowed inside.
The jackets are made from bluesign-approved material and dyed using the resource-efficient dope-dyed process, which saves water and energy during production. The ergonomic cut with pre-shaped sleeves provides full freedom of movement while climbing and ascending, while the hem can be tightened with a drawcord to keep out wind and spindrift. This makes the Beta SV a minimalist hardshell that focuses entirely on reliable weather protection for high-alpine activities.
The Beta SV is designed for demanding mountaineers who won’t compromise on their equipment, and it protects against wind, rain, and snow even in hard conditions.
