The Cosmo Headlamp from Black Diamond is the compact, no-fuss headlamp in the series—designed for everyday use, travel, and spontaneous activities. With 350 lumens, it provides enough light for city streets, campsites, or nighttime trips into the woods, and its IPX7-rated waterproof housing can even withstand short submersion.
Unlike the Spot and Storm models, the Cosmo focuses on the essentials: a white main beam and a night-vision-friendly red light (dimmable and flashable), controlled by two buttons, plus an optical faceted lens for even illumination. It deliberately does not feature RGB lighting or separate spot and flood lenses.
Thanks to dual-fuel technology, it runs either on three AAA batteries or the separately available, rechargeable BD 1500 lithium-ion battery—handy when you’re on the go and there’s no outlet nearby. A battery level indicator shows the charge level, and the patented digital lock prevents accidental activation in a backpack or bag.
