450-lumens headlamp with spot, flood, and RGB modes, PowerTap dimming, and included battery (dual-fuel, also compatible with AAA batteries), IPX8 waterproof.
The Spot DFR Headlamp from Black Diamond is a versatile 450-lumens headlamp that comes with a battery included. It’s perfect for backcountry tours, trailrunning, or at camp while cooking and organizing your equipment.
It features a flood lens for long-distance visibility, a spot lens for proximity use, and a separate RGB lens with red, green, and blue lights. With PowerTap technology, you can switch between full and dimmed power with a tap of your finger, and the IPX8-rated waterproof housing can withstand long periods of submersion.
The rechargeable BD 1500 lithium-ion battery is included in the scope of delivery (DFR stands for Dual Fuel Rechargeable) and charges via USB-C; alternatively, it runs on three AAA batteries. It also features a mode memory function and a digital lock to prevent accidental activation.
This makes the Spot DFR versatile and ready to go right out of the box—with all lighting modes and rechargeable right from the factory.
