Lightweight but robust trekking backpack with easily adjustable, comfortable carrying system. With ideal load transfer through central aluminum bar and direct connection to the hip belt. Practical top loader with roll closure opening and good protection against moisture.
The Lightning 45 from Exped is a lightweight, water-repellent touring backpack with easy height-adjustable carrying system. The straps made of breathable material and the aluminum rod in the back panel provide a comfortable fit and good stability. Thanks to minimized contact surfaces, the backpack offers a super climate on the back. Load transfer is guaranteed by the central aluminum bar and direct connection to the hip belt. The hip belt is equipped with two pockets, providing direct access to all valuables. The noble backpack fabric with white ripstop structure is pleasantly soft to the touch, low in weight, but extremely tear-resistant. This is due to the additional HMPE threads (High Modulus Polyethylene), which form a particularly tear-resistant ripstop structure. Thanks to PU coating (1,500 mm water column), the material is also highly water repellent. The bottom is even more robustly made of abrasion-resistant 630-denier nylon. With the roll closure and the combined, full front/side compression, the hiking backpack is extremely flexible in packing volume depending on the area of use. Two stretch side pockets are ideal for water bottles. For trekking poles or other equipment it has various material loops. A well-designed touring backpack that will save weight on your back.
