The Air Tech New Matic Evo from Grivel provides grip in rocky terrain and ice, whichever direction you go: when walking, ten prongs are in the ice and all twelve keep you on track when traversing on a slope. The serrated spikes also grip cauliflower ice and also hold on to traction and friction. In addition, two points are double-angled at the front to provide better grip when descending and at the side when traversing. The crampons can be attached to all mountaineering boots with a heel edge using the straps and the heel toggle fastener and can be adjusted quickly and easily using the steel connecting bar. Grivel's proactive anti-balling plates are also integrated.
