Warm mittens with a goatskin lining, weather-resistant outer material, and a removable lining for long days on the slopes in demanding conditions.
The Army Leather Heli Ski Mitt by Hestra is a tried-and-true glove for cold days in the snow and extreme conditions. Originally developed for ski guides in Western Canada, this mitt combines robust isolation with high durability. The outer shell is made of wind- and waterproof Hestra Triton polyamide, while the palm, crafted from waterproofed Army Goat leather, provides grip and flexibility. It is one of Hestra’s most iconic gloves and is manufactured at the company’s own facility in Hungary.
The G-Loft isolation keeps hands warm even in low temperatures. The Bemberg and polyester lining is removable and can be swapped out or dried depending on temperature, humidity, and activity level. A snow guard at the wrist and a velcro closure keep the warmth in and the snow out.
Thanks to integrated hand straps (handcuffs), the glove won’t get lost when you take it off. A carabiner and an eyelet on the finger allow you to hang it with the opening facing down, preventing snow from getting in.
This makes the Army Leather Heli Ski Mitt a tried-and-true classic for demanding conditions and cold days in the snow.
