The Smarter from Mammut is an add-on for the Smart 2.0 safety devices from Mammut. It is designed to increase safety for beginners and kids as it reduces misuse. The Smarter is additionally attached to the Smart 2.0 and blocks the rope in the event of a fall, even if the brake rope is mistakenly held above the Smart 2.0. Rope handling is not affected by the Smarter. If the Smarter is not needed, it can be easily attached to the climbing harness using the integrated loop.
