It was designed in collaboration with professional alpinists Stephan Siegrist and Nico Hojac and is ideal for your outdoor adventures in the mountains, climbing or on your next ski touring trip.
The main material is made from predominantly recycled, robust nylon fabric and provides the necessary abrasion resistance and robustness that you need in alpine environments. The mountain sports backpack is also light and reliably keeps out moisture - thanks to its PFC-free, permanently water-repellent impregnation.
The contact back system fits snugly and keeps the load close to your back. The anatomically shaped, soft padded shoulder straps and hip belt make the carrying system comfortable and convenient. The chest strap is also elasticated and ensures that the mountain sports backpack fits perfectly. This makes it comfortable to wear, even if you're out and about all day.
The Trion 28 is also a real all-rounder when it comes to stowing your equipment. To access the main compartment, you can either use the roll-top opening with zip or the side zipper access. This allows you to access the inside of the mountain sports backpack quickly and easily at any time. A separate compartment for your avalanche equipment keeps your equipment well organized and allows you to act quickly.
The external storage options for your equipment are also impressive: You have two ice axe holders, trekking pole holders, a reinforced ski fixation on the side, a rope fixation on the lid of the backpack and two large mesh bags on the shoulder straps.
The icing on the cake are the outer compression straps, which you can attach either to the side or the front - depending on what you need them for. Mammut has also thought about hydration with the Trion 28: it is compatible with a hydration system so that you are always sufficiently hydrated.
But that's not all! The mountain sports backpack is environmentally friendly, sustainable and produced under fair working conditions (FairWear).
