Opinel N°08 Outdoor Messer

The modern version of the Opinel knife with partial serrated edge.

The Opinel No. 8 outdoor knife comes with a 3.5 cm serrated edge for easier cutting of cords and ropes. Sailors will be delighted with the shackle opener integrated into the blade. The 2.5 mm strong blade is made of modified, stainless Sandvik 12C27 steel and is still secured with the Virobloc, which either keeps the knife nicely closed or prevents it from folding shut. A shrill whistle for signaling is integrated in the plastic handle. The high-quality handle in the typical Opinel design is made from a polyamide/fiberglass material that sits comfortably and firmly in the hand, even with wet hands.
