The fabric is made of polyamide (plain) or polyester (printed) and repels water and dirt thanks to its durable impregnation. It is also soft, moisture-wicking and breathable. The hat is made even more breathable by the surrounding mesh fabric activity. It is secured with the chin strap, and if it does fall into the water, it simply floats to the top.
