The filling consists of European gray goose down certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) with a 750 cuin fill power, offering a strong warmth-to-weight ratio. The generous chamber construction keeps the down in place and ensures even isolation. Durable synthetic insulation is used in areas prone to moisture.

The breathable outer fabric is durable and withstands contact with rock, abrasion, and rough handling.

The climbing-specific details are well thought out: A two-way front zip provides quick access to the climbing harness, and the extra-large inside pockets keep climbing shoes or equipment warm between routes. The insulated, helmet-compatible hood protects the head from icy gusts, and the adjustable hem drawcord keeps drafts out.

The 30-denier Toray mini-ripstop outer fabric features an acrylic coating that repels rain and snow and, despite its light weight, withstands contact with rock and abrasion. In areas prone to moisture, 140 g/m² synthetic insulation complements the down, ensuring the jacket stays warm even if it gets damp.
