The Distance 22 Backpack by Black Diamond combines the comfortable carrying system of a running vest with the generous storage space of an alpine backpack. The vest-like design reduces bouncing when running and ensures a stable fit even when moving quickly. The innovative carrying system with seamless edge taping construction guarantees an optimal fit, high wearing comfort and durability.

The integrated compression system keeps your equipment stable on your back. For alpine activities, the backpack offers a Z-Pole carrying system and two attachment options for ice picks. The large front compartment made from stretch fabric is ideal for stowing a hard shell jacket or other equipment.
