The Axis Vivid Goggle, Vivid Ember S2+S1 by Giro, is a versatile pair of ski goggles designed to handle all mountain conditions. To ensure you’re prepared for any change in weather, it comes with two lenses. The VIVID Ember S2 lens is ideal for sunny to changeable conditions, while the VIVID Infrared S1 lens ensures clear vision in stormy conditions and low light.

Both lenses use VIVID technology, which Giro developed in collaboration with Zeiss. It allows contrast-enhancing blue light to pass through, blocks harmful UV light, and filters out haze. This makes contours in the snow stand out more clearly, reduces eye fatigue, and helps you spot your trail sooner. The lenses are cylindrical and manufactured using an injection-molding process, which ensures a crisp, distortion-free view.

Changing lenses is easy thanks to the Quick Change Lens System: self-aligning magnets quickly snap the lens into place, while four locking pins hold it securely. This lets you swap out the lens effortlessly without having to fiddle around in the snow for a long time.

Two systems work together to prevent fogging. First, there’s the anti-fog coating that is a feature of every Giro lens. Second, there’s the EVAK Vent ventilation system: its special non-absorbent foam wicks moisture away to the outside while also forming a barrier against wind and weather.

Expansion View Technology ensures a wide field of view. Beveled frame edges and frameless zones provide an unobstructed view—especially to the sides. The medium fit adapts to many face shapes.

The three-layer face foam with a soft microfleece lining ensures comfort during long days on the snow. The OTG design also provides enough space so you can wear the ski goggles over your prescription glasses.
