The Explorer Pro filter from Katadyn is an innovative water filter that combines three filter technologies in one system. Depending on the situation, the activated carbon element and the viruses hollow fiber membrane can be inserted or removed individually - for maximum flexibility when trekking, on expeditions or in an emergency.

The ceramic filter cartridge is durable and easy to clean, the activated carbon improves taste and reduces odors, while the virus stage reliably retains even the finest pathogens. The Explorer Pro thus protects against bacteria, protozoa, microplastics, chlorine and even viruses.

Thanks to the steel pump plunger, the system is robust and designed for continuous use. An integrated tool on the pump clip facilitates maintenance on the go. The pressure relief valve at the inlet provides additional protection for the system. The filter elements can be stored separately in a dry place between activities.
