Patagonia's M's Fitz Roy Down Jkt is a down jacket designed for cold mountain hikes and climbing adventures where compact packing size is just as important as reliable warmth. For the outer fabric, Patagonia uses water-repellent, extremely light, yet durable Pertex Quantum made from recycled nylon ripstop.

The filling consists of certified goose down with a fill power of 800 cuin, providing plenty of warmth even in freezing temperatures. The high collar protects the neck from cold winds and traps body heat, yet it’s easy to wear as part of a layering system. The durable Vislon front zip is backed by an internal wind flap.

You can warm your hands in two zippered handwarmer pockets. When needed, you can stow the entire jacket compactly in its left bag and attach it to your climbing harness using the integrated loop. Soft, elastic cuffs and a double-adjustable hem seal the jacket and keep the warmth close to your body.
