The Petzl Connect Adjust is a simple positioning lanyard for sport climbing, with an adjustable lanyard. You attach the Petzl Connect Adjust to the anchor bar with an anchor stitch. You can adjust your position quickly and easily thanks to the ergonomically shaped adjustment device. And the carabiners are held in the correct position by the rubber ring to make clipping in easier. Therefore, these lanyards may only be used if the fall factor is below 1 in fall situations.Certification tests: Tests and strength values have been defined for certification to meet these requirements: - static strength > 15 kN - static slip value > 4 kN - dynamic test: 5 falls at factor 2, mass of 80 kg, adjustable lanyard set to 80 % of maximum length, impact force < 12 kN.Results: - F = 8.9 kN on the fixed strand. - F = 6.2 kN on the adjustable strand.
