The double layer of leather on the palm and the additional reinforcements protect your hands from burns on long abseils and when lowering. The fingertips and vulnerable hand areas have also been reinforced, making the gloves even more robust and resistant. The back of the hand is made of leather, but the joint areas are equipped with abrasion-resistant nylon stretch for better mobility. The eyelet integrated into the neoprene cuff with velcro is used to attach the gloves to the climbing harness with the help of a carabiners.
